Burning Man 1996

Please don't think for one moment that I'm going to attempt to explain what Burning Man is all about. After all, I've only been there once, so I'm hardly a seasoned expert. Plenty of other sites have deeper information about the Man... I'm only here to show you some of my pictures.

But first a couple notes:

• I did not obtain releases from anyone I photographed. As such, I will not be posting any photos that could cause... ummmm... embarrassment to the subject. If you spot yourself in one of these pictures but would rather not be on the web, let me know.
• All I took was ASA100 film, so I have virtually no night shots. Sorry.
• Next year, I think I'm going to leave the camera behind. Yes, it's great to have these pictures, but after a couple days I started to feel like I was living the experience through the viewfinder.
