OK, so I'm a liar
Shortly after returning from the playa in September 2004, I posted a note on this very page saying there would be no pictures from this year. In fact, I'll just go ahead and leave that note on here (below) so you can see it for yourself.

So here we are at the very end of December, and I've changed my mind. Why? I don't know. But what I do know is that although I have in fact posted some 2004 pictures, I've posted far fewer than in years past. What you'll see here are primarily a number of shots taken in and around Hushville, with a handful of things from the rest of BRC.

I'll get back into the swing of things next year, unless I'm lying again.

Can it be true?
Our personal theme for Burning Man 2004 was "take it easy." After eight previous journeys to the playa, we decided that we deserved a bit of a break and ended up taking several major items off our to-do list. One of the things that got cut was a little item called Excessive Picture Taking. This year, I think I ended up taking few pictures than I did in 1996, and you know what? It was really nice.

Yes, I did get some good shots of some cool things and people, but I don't think I'm going to get around to posting them. Even dealing with a few shots takes a fair amount of time to get them all cleaned up, uploaded and categorized, and right now I'm all for letting our sloth-like attitude continue through the rest of the year. Maybe I'll post some pictures from the San Francisco and Seattle decompression events. Maybe not.

Thanks for stopping by and checking things out, though. I promise to get back into the swing of things for 2005, so think of us again then.
