In the fall of 2011, Amanda Palmer and Neil Gaiman did a small west coast tour that ended in Seattle on November 9. Once again we fulfilled our duty of feeding the gang at the show, but this time contained an extra element. Since Neil’s birthday was the next day, Amanda wanted to surprise him with a special performance on stage, complete with the presentation of a cake. Like a good husband, I volunteered my wife to make the cake, and she went all out.
And just to make the evening more complete, we also loaned our couch and a couple other living room items to the show.
