Normally a parking job like this might just give me a quick laugh, but since this happened right in front of our house and by pure luck I was looking out the window at the right time, I was able to witness everything that went into making it happen. It was really quite entertaining.
Here are the details:
- The parking space was large enough to comfortably fit two full-sized cars.
- The driver could have pulled straight in and parked without ever having to go into reverse. Instead, she chose to exercise her questionable parallel parking skills.
- She spent approximately six minutes wiggling into this space. I kid you not.
- Midway through the wiggling, she got out of the car and walked around it to survey her progress.
- When she got a safe two feet from the curb, she called it good, locked up and walked away.
- I immediately went out, snapped this photo, posted it to Facebook and had a good laugh over it.
- An hour later I saw the driver return to the car, wiggle it all the way over to the curb, get out and return to wherever she was. Maybe that photo had already been viralized and she was publically shamed into moving it.
